Here are some pictures of the brown dress I made, I wore it to church last Sunday with a brown sweater. It doesn't photograph very well, it looks a lot better in person. I will post the other dresses and skirts that I've made as I wear them and take pictures of them. Hopefully the weather stays nice so that I can keep wearing them! I made the skirt below yesterday, my camera isn't very good so I think the next time I photograph the clothes I make I will have to do so in natural light. This month I've made three dresses and four skirts, I plan on making another skirt tomorrow! I want to get as much sewing in as possible before I start school on the 19th! Then I have to focus on that instead of on my sewing. : (
what a cute dress! i need to go pattern shopping. i never see anything cute like this. the drawings on the patterns always look like they are from the 80s and it sort of turns me off. but then i see your adorable clothes and it gives me hope. i guess i just need to get an imagination.
Ha ha ya the patterns always look kind of lame, but once you make them then you can add to them. The pattern of that dress is just a tank top dress, I added the flowers. Also fabric choice has A LOT to do with it. You can get a simple pattern and get some amazing fabric and it will look amazing. Hope you and Cohen are feeling better!
My name is Emilia, I like to lay out, spend time with my wonderful husband and family, sew, shop, Instagram, and watch reality TV. I teach Pilates at a physical therapy clinic, and I love it so much. I am one lucky lady! I like to blog about my sewing projects, my life, and my outings. My pictures are a mixture of Danny's camera and my Instagram. Danny loves taking pictures, but hates being in them, so you see a lot of me and a lot of my feet. Thanks for stopping by!
