A couple of weeks ago Danny and I were over at his sister's house and she showed me a picture of the cutest little shirt dress! It was the Wrap Weekend Dress by Milly. It had a lot of detail and the most interesting effect of a shirt dress mixed with a wrap dress. I don't know how it would feel on, but in the picture it looked darling. I knew that I couldn't make the dress exactly how Milly did, but I could at least get some similar fabric, and add a big bow to give it more of a wrapped look. I used a really cute seersucker gingham fabric, there was a girl in my clothing class that used a black seersucker fabric for a wrap dress she made, and I've wanted to try and work with that fabric ever since I saw how nicely the fabric worked as a dress! Here was my chance! I think it's so cute, I can't wait to pair it with yellow sandals this summer!
Here's the actual dress. It's so cute with the wrap around detail and the buttons on the sleeves!

i love this dress. my mom said she saw you the other day and you were wearing the "cutest" skirt. I was like, "mom, she ALWAYS wears the cutest stuff." it's true. i'm so jealous of your sewing talent.
Yours is much cuter. Great job.
Hi, I love this dress! Do you happen to use a pattern for this? Would you mind sharing the pattern code?
