Playing Catch-up: Engagements

So, it's been FOREVER!!!! Everyday I would wake up and tell myself, "You have to blog! You have to blog!" But then I'd go on with my day and get swamped with work, or crafts, or just doing fun things with my HUBBY! Today is our six month anniversary, and as a present to myself I am giving myself the gifts of motivation! And I am motivated to BLOG! So for the next few post we are going to be playing catchup! We will start here with our Engagement Pictures!

Our photographer was James Goatcher. He was so good! We LOVE our pictures. I am having a hard time picking just a few to frame in our house.

I had a hard time picking just one, so I went with the collage below ...

I made Christmas cards out of our engagement pictures too!
We sent out these two cards for Christmas 2012.

Engagement Catch up complete! Only 8 more months of catch up left : )

Summerfest 2012!

Every summer the St. Angela's church in my town puts on a fair. It's right down the street from my house so Danny and I walk to it to get some funnel cake and listen to the sweet jams almost every night they're here! They have some pretty amazing bands every summer, my favorite was Peter Frampton a few years back. Two years ago Pat Benatar was there and Danny sat through the crazy crazy crowds with me! Anywho they have some pretty fun bands every year, this year they had MC Hammer on Saturday night! And a CCR cover band, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, on Sunday night. I was pretty excited!
Danny and I went right after Kate and Ryan's wedding on Saturday night and got there JUST in time to get a funnel cake and watch MC Hammer sing 2 Legit 2 Quit and Hammer Time. It was amazing! On Sunday Danny and I walked over there after dinner and took some pictures and watched the CCR cover band. Danny didn't really enjoy that one, he kept saying, "it's not even the real band!" Ha ha ha not everyone wishes they were a child of the late 60's like me, but he stood with me and took pictures of surrounding attractions as I rocked out. He was a good sport!

Night ONE!

MC Hammer!!!

Night TWO!

Listening to Creedence Clearwater Revisited!

Danny took two of my favorite shots while I was dancing away!

Katelyn & Ryan's Wedding

It's wedding season!! The first wedding was a GREAT one! One of my best friend's from high school, Katelyn, married the love of her life! They did the most beautiful job on the wedding, it was so beautiful and very Kate! They held it at an Equestrian Center so there were horses everywhere, it was so much fun!  Katelyn is always beautiful, but she looked drop dead gorgeous on her wedding day. I am so happy for them!

A few nights before the wedding the held a rehearsal dinner at Lucille's, here's the happy (and very attractive) couple!

I love these girls!!

Danny and I are ready for the wedding!

We were in charge of the guest sign in photo booth. Instead of a guest book Katelyn and Ryan had people write messages on a chalk board and then stand in front of a backdrop for a picture!

I made the backdrop (with help from Kate, she helped cut the strips which was the hardest part!) and Danny took the pictures with his camera. I think it was a huge success!

Every detail was perfect! Look at this cute type writer ...

And their favors were too delicious!

Ashely captured this shot, and I am obsessed with it!

Danny and I fell in love with this horse, he was so nice! We took pictures with it all night!

Me and the beautiful bride!

Me and my BFF Ashley! She's so pretty!

Time to see off the happy couple!!!

Waving goodbye!

Mr. and Mrs. Clark!
